My '57 Corvette just came back from the body shop!!

Cars are really taking off now as spring approaches and I have a tremendous inventory. I have lots of work to do in the next month trying to get some cars put back together. I am still trying to finish my 57 Corvette after a engine fire. I really thought i was going to lose the car as I had taken the fire extinguisher out of the trunk as it was flopping around in a cardboard box. Possibly one of the dumbest things I have ever done, at least in the last couple of years anyway. Things that were done while in college do not count.
I just had Tom Loring bring my Corvette back from his body shop in Adrian, Minnesota. He and his son operate Expert Autobody, 507-827-2400, and they do fantastic work. I am more than impressed with the job they did on my car. I would recommend them for any type of restoration work. Now i have to try and get it put back together
Also still trying to finish the 32 5 window with the Chuck Berry 52 Cadillac engine. I keep putzing with it with lots of help from my friend Dana, a very accomplished fabricator. The Winters quickchange is mounted which was a tremendous amount of work. I think i need to take the phone off the hook and lock the front door and then maybe i can get some work done. I dont know, these customers keep coming in wanting to buy something all the time.
